I'm quite fond of torture...no really

So I made a LOT of food on Saturday...too much food even for me. Variety is the spice of life I know, but this was insanity. You should have seen all the food I made our guests take with them.

I promised I would have a twist on the meringues. So I did a slightly smaller version of the other individual Lemon Meringues from last week, Larry had these cute little muffin tins, and I piped the meringue through my pipping bag. I ran out of time or else I would have changed the tips up and done different designs.

So the twist of it all? lol I bet you're all thinking something magical, really it was a raspberry in the center of each Meringue. It was a GREAT twist though. The tartness and sweetness's (is that a word? it is now!) from both the lemon and the raspberry worked so well together. It definitely was a nice treat to bite in and have that tickle your tongue.

I may even decide that the lemon meringues are something to make for future interviews. I think I am getting a good hand with them.
