Off to the windy city

Hopefully I'm not blown away...oooh seriously, I think I am soooo hilarious!

Going to Chicago for work, it will most likely suck a little being cooped up with coworkers for 12 hours straight in a hotel room...why does everyone think this sounds like fun?

I've packed WAY too many clothes and WAY too many shoes, but at the moment I deem them essential so they're coming.

Ava and I had a pretty good day today, just running some errands, she did well walking through Walmart. Yep, no cart for her. She carried chocolate chips like a champ and generally followed my directions, and therefore earned herself a nifty new book. I didn't generally do anything important and bought myself 8 new books at Half Price books tonight, which is pretty much my favourite place in the world. But come on I only spent $20 on 8 books!! How can one go wrong??

Then I went out for sushi, if I were stranded on a desert island and could only eat one food for the rest of my life it would be the spicy tuna roll from Takara. The absolute best thing you have ever tasted, and for some reason they seem to make it more spicy at night than during lunch, or perhaps the young sushi man somehow sensed I was a spicy girl (considering all of the rolls I ordered were spicy) and decided to make my night extra spicy, who's to say?

Anyways enough of my ramblings! Have a good week!

I'm pretty sure the only thing on a dessert island would be ice cream, chocolate, peanut butter, and lots of spoons.

Have fun in Chi-town. I'll miss you.

I hope you order room service! In past, it has been my major compensation for business-related trips...At the end of 12 hours with those jamokes, if at all possible get a headache, retire to your room, get some room service, call Larry, et voila!

I did order room service once! It was kind of nice actually, although I ordered WAY too much food. And felt kind of guilty because there was no way no how I was going to be able to finish it all.
