Larry's visit

We have had such a great time with Larry this visit. We've been swimming conquering Play Parks and even maybe found a good new car? Fingers crossed! We both love him so much.

Larry and I were reading the Bible a couple of days ago, we're in 1 Samuel. We are reading about Samuel appointing Saul the King and in the my version it states: "...and that is where the saying 'Was Saul a Prophet?!' came from."

So yes, I've decided to bring this catch phrase back. I've been working it into every possible conversation. Most people look at me like I'm crazy, but I'm guaranteeing that in 6 months everyone will be saying it.

So our conversation proceeds...

S: "See how I repeated myself* and didn't become angry? That's called growth, yep I can grow...I mean Was Saul a Prophet?" -Then I laughed uncontrollably.
L: "Yes dear, I'm very proud of you."
S: ::Wipes away a tear:: "I know right? I am so hilarious, the world is a better place because I'm in it."
L: "You make my life better."
S: "Awwww, So before me your life was in ruins?"
L: "Yes, BC it was awful."
S: "No not BC! BS...ooohh crap, that didn't work out exactly as I wanted."

*I hate to repeat myself. It used to actually make me angry...but I'm working on it.

Thoughts from the Gym...

"Why is that girl wearing such tight clothes...?"

Me: "There was this girl at the gym who had ::ahem:: some big personalities..."
Larry: ::not understanding:: "Oh so she was really nice to you?"
Me: "No, she had huge boobs"

Tiffany's Wedding cake!

Here are some pictures of my first attempt to make a tiffany's wedding cake for friends who are getting married in June. I'm pretty excited about the result seeing as how this was my first time using fondant!

Cupcake Fun!

Here are some pictures of some cupcakes I made this week. They were lemon Raspberry. There was a whole raspberry in the middle of the cupcake.

The first picture has a cream cheese frosting with sugared lemon peel on top, and the second (pink/yellow) is a butter cream frosting. -The cream cheese is WAY better.
